We are excited to announce this year’s annual YES to YOUTH Gala to be held on September 26, 2020, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. This year, we are honoring Mr. and Mrs. Zach and Rachel Richmond. Our corporate honoree is LJA Engineering. We are so grateful for their support and dedication.

Here are the reasons why we need YOUR support…

As we are entering into the summer months, and on the heels of the pandemic, your support is more important than ever. We are seeing an increased need across the county for our services. Our lives have changed irrevocably and the uncertainty of the future, plus the events of the past four months, have had a marked impact on our collective mental health.

Challenges at home can turn into abuse, neglect or homelessness for a child. Every day, our Bridgeway YES to YOUTH shelter provides a home to children that need a safe place to live in order to escape abuse and neglect. YES to YOUTH is on the front line of preventing and ending the epidemic of teen suicide. Each year approximately 17,500 youth enter sex trafficking in the U.S., and Houston has become a recruiting area for trafficking. Our counselors teach our children to love themselves and to see the child we see.
